I will dominate 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
