The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Express Frustration Regarding Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are posting online claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
It has advised users to review their products and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Measurement Approach Updates
Earlier, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she explained.
Manual Updates
Another shopper, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: last year, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
